A final year Economics and Information Student of the University of Ghana, Legon drowned yesterday in the legon pool while hanging out with friends.
The deceased, who was identified as Dennis Akoto, is said to be a good swimmer was found dead in the pool.
Meanwhile, other patrons at the pool claim they did not not see him struggle in the water.
First responders, say he coughed out Jollof after a Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) was performed on him.
This has led to the conclusion that Akoto might have drowned in the pool because he had eaten.
