The University of Ghana Electoral Commission has suspended the Students Representative Council elections that was being held across 15 polling stations today.
The EC cited unresolved challenges as the cause of the suspension.
The EC made it known in a statement signed by the Chairman of the SRC Electoral Commission, King-Nyamador Godwin.

*POSTPONEMENT OF SRC ELECTIONS*
Following the series of challenges which have accompanied the ongoing SRC elections, the Electoral Commission writes to formally inform all students and stakeholders that the elections have been called off due to unresolved challenges.
Details with respect to the new date and procedure shall be duly communicated soon.
All conveniences caused by means of this decision are deeply regretted.
