The wait is finally over guys! The National Service Secretariat has increased the monthly allowance of national service personnel in the country.
In a statement signed by the acting NSS Executive Director, Ussif Mustapha, the said increment is expected to take place from 1st April of this month.
“The Management of the National Service Scheme (NSS) wishes to inform national service personnel and the general public that the government has approved an upward adjustment of national service personnel allowances from GH¢350.00 a month to GH¢559.04 a month with effect from 1st April, 2017.”
The NSS boss went ahead to thank all national service personnel for their patience on the matter and urged all personnel to work harder to support the government.
