The University of Ghana vetting committee of the SRC has announced that two aspirants who were disqualified are now eligible for vetting until further notice.
Below is the statement released by the Student Representative Council.
The Vetting Committee of the SRC wishes to announce to the General Student body that, the decision by the Electoral Commissioner to disqualify Mr. Alfred Kumi and Mr. Emmanuel Boadi has been rescinded pending clarifications from the Dean of Students.
For the avoidance of doubt, this should not be taken as an approval or rejection of Mr. Kumi and Mr. Boadi. That decision will be taken by the Vetting Committee pursuant to Article 40 of the SRC Constitution .
NB : VETTING OF ASPIRANTS COMES OFF THIS EVENING AT EXACTLY 6PM
