Guru has announced his decision to pull out of this year’s Ghana Music Awards.
He made this announcement on his Facebook page last night.
The decision came after Charter House, the main organizers of the event came out with the full nominations list.

Even though Guru earned 3 nominations including the Hiplife/Hiphop Artist of the year, Best Collaboration of the Year and Highlife song of the year, he decided to pull out.
Speaking to his manager on the issue this afternoon, he stated that Guru simply doesn’t want to be a part of the awards.
Guru also released the video for his new song ‘Booze and Boobs’
