Commonwealth hall week is usually the talk of campus annually because of the thrilling activities and star-studded performances the hall has to offer. Performances from artistes such as M.I and Sarkodie in previous years are enough to assure students of a bigger mouth watering experience during this year’s event.
According to the Commonwealth hall president, Mr. Smith, this year’s hall week is poised to come on between the 22nd and 29th of April with the artiste night and gospel rock show climaxing the event on Saturday and Sunday respectively. Some activities students can look out for this year include political debates, cooking competitions, food bazaar and indoor games such as Fifa 17 tournament, snooker, table tennis etc
When asked about the artistes expected to grace this year’s artiste night, the President wished to keep it a secret so as to carry on with the halls tradition of creating suspense and surprising students by revealing the news in style.
