Ghana @ 60 celebrations to cost GH¢20 million
Ghana’s 60th anniversary celebration will cost an estimated GH¢20 million, President Nana Addo-Akufo Addo has revealed. The President however says the cost of the celebration would be borne not only by the state but also Ghanaian citizens and organisations. President Akufo-Addo made this known on Thursday when he unveiled the logo for the anniversary celebration at the Flagstaff House in Accra. The theme for the celebration is “Mobilising for Ghana’s Future”.
NDC never approved 13.9 million dollars for Veep’s residence
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has disputed the allegation made by Vice President Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia that the ex-President John Dramani Mahama, approved 13.9 million dollars for an official residence for Vice President. Mr Fred Agbenyo, Deputy National Communications Director of the Party said the allegation also indicated that the government under the NDC hid the data of the expenditure on the building, which was not true. He said:” I am only putting on record that the NDC government under President John Mahama did not approve of 13.9 million dollars to be used to put up the Vice President’s accommodation, hence the allegation is not true.”
Amidu stands down decision to cross-examine Woyome
A former Attorney-General (A-G) and Minister of Justice, Mr Martin Alamisi Amidu, yesterday withdrew a case in which he was seeking to cross-examine Mr Alfred Woyome over the delay in the repayment of the GH¢51.2 million judgment debt paid to Woyome. Appearing at the Supreme Court, Mr Amidu, who represented himself, explained that the withdrawal of the suit was because the new A-G, Ms Gloria Akuffo, had expressed interest in retrieving the money from Mr Woyome. According to Mr Amidu, he had brought the suit when he thought the previous government and the A-G at that time had no intention of retrieving Mr Woyome’s money.
Over 200 State Cars Missing…Nana Addo Forced To Use His Private Vehicle!
Director of Communications at the presidency, Eugene Arhin says over 200 official cars are nowhere to found at the seat of government, Flagstaff House. The cars, which he said are part of the presidential pool of official vehicles, are missing from the Flagstaff House garage. Subsequently, he said, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has been forced to use a 2007 model of a saloon car within Accra.

Lutterodt in a new video has emphatically said, Ghanaian actress-Joselyn Dumas and TV-personality Nana Aba Amoah cannot MARRY–adding, they are at a stage called ‘MFS-Mafa No Saa.’ He also said what Jackie Appiah had was not marriage as in the sense of the substance of marriage–and that Kwabena Kwabena too cannot marry, at least have a stable marriage.
