The skipper of the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan, has sent a note of caution to Ghanaians to disregard any account on Facebook bearing his name because he does not have a Facebook account.

There is an account on Facebook bearing the name of the skipper. The account shares photos of his training session at the AFCON and gives daily updates on what the skipper has been up to.

But speaking on a Facebook live Chat on the Facebook page of Christian Atsu, Asamoah Gyan said: “Me I don’t have a Facebook account. All Ghanaians me I don’t have any Facebook account if you see any account bearing my name then it is a scam”.
