Nacee, the writer of the ‘Onaapo’ song has expressed his view about the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards categories. This is what he suggested;
“I’ll be glad if organisers of VGMA add political song of the year category to the other categories… I’m not saying I’m wiser than the management of VGMA, but it just a suggestion that I’m making”, Nacee to Kojo Preko Dankwa on Kasapa 102.5FM.
According to Ghanaweb.com, Nacee also noted that, should organisers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards consider giving a slot to Political Song of year every four years, it will inspire some musicians to support political activities with their talent
