Member of parliament for Kwabre East and first timer in parliament, Francisca Oteng-Mensah is lamenting about settling bills that do not belong to her even before she receives her first salary. The final year Law student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology said on Joy Fm’s Super Morning Show on Tuesday that the constituents feel that MP’s have some sort of obligation towards them as far as their financial needs are concerned.
Francisca Oteng-Mensah happens to be the youngest MP in the current parliament. She is also the most popular MP by 2016 parliamentary results standard. She won a total of 71,754 out of the 86,372 total votes cast.
