
The 31st edition of the Africa Cup Of Nations began in Gabon last Saturday, with each team playing its first group stage match.
There is a total of 25 players who left their clubs in the Premiere League to feature in this competition.
We have seen players like Saido Mane, Riyad Mahrez and Andre Ayew leave their Premiere League clubs to play in the tournament.
However, Benik Afobe and Sofiane Feghouli withdrew from the Democratic Republic of Congo and Algeria’s squad to concentrate on their Bournemouth and West Ham careers respectively.
