Mahama Withdraws Interest In Bungalow Request

Former President John Dramani Mahama requested to occupy his current bungalow in a letter signed by the former Chief of Staff in a letter to President Nana Addo.

It seems the former president has had enough of all the rants from the party in power.

In a recent letter copied to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II., Ex President Mahama has withdrawn his interest in the bungalow he requested to occupy.

This was confirmed by Mrs Hannah Tetteh, the former Minister of Foreign Affairs in a recent tweet.

The residence, bungalow No.3, situated at Prestige Link, Cantonments in Accra, has been designated as official accommodation for the country’s Vice-Presidents but was still inhabited by the former President becoming President of Ghana.

The residence has been the official house for sitting vice presidents.

Mr Mahama was supposed to vacate the property a day before the investiture of President Nana Akufo-Addo, per Ghana’s 1992 Constitution.
