President Mahama To Embark On Nationwide Farewell Tour

President John Mahama served us well in his term of office (if you disagree ask his daughter), but things did not go as planned for him in the just ended elections.

President Mahama was voted out of power in the 2016 elections and will be handing over to President-Elect Nana Addo on the 7th of January 2017.

Even though he has been voted out of power, he has received an appointment from ECOWAS.

Following his departure, President John Mahama will begin a nationwide thank you and farewell tour on Tuesday, December 20, 2016.

The President will be meeting traditional and religious leaders as well as regional and constituency executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as part of his tour.He will start off from the Upper East Region then later tour the Upper West, Northern, Brong Ahafo, Ashanti, Eastern, Volta, Central and Western Regions in that order.The President is expected to end his tour in the Greater Accra Region on Friday, December 30, 2016.
