The EC are yet to declare the final results of the election even though they have started releasing some provisional results.
In view of this, some NDC supporters dressed in white have gathered at the residence of H.E John Mahama, in Cantonments.
It is reported that the supporters are there to encourage the President on the ongoing counting of votes.
Even though we haven’t heard anything from the President since he was seen voted in his hometown, John Mahama came out to address the crowd at his residence.
He assured them the NDC were also doing their own collation and will respect the outcome of the election, being it positive or negative.
He went on to tell the crowd to keep calm and respect the constitution.
Meanwhile, the American Embassy which is close to the president’s residence has been surrounded by armed men in case the crowd gets chaotic.
