Early this morning, there was news from Kumasi that the Police had intercepted three bags stuffed with materials reported to be thumb-printed presidential ballot papers found at the Madison Hotel at TUC in the Ashanti Regional capital.
The report suggested that all the ballot papers had thumb prints for President John Mahama, but COP Police Commander, Nathan Kofi Boakye confirmed that the thumb-printed ballot papers were not genuine since they had no serial numbers, therefore making them fake.
Bridget Otoo is a journalist who works at TV3 and she is trending on twitter at the moment.

Bridget Otoo shared a Whatsapp BC as a Press Release concerning Mahama’s thumb-printed ballot papers on twitter.
She later deleted the tweet and mentioned that her source lied. This was after the management of the Madison Hotel told reporters that they haven’t spoken to journalists about the fake ballot papers.
Some Twitter users didn’t take this kindly and have been attacking her for that. Here are some tweets.
