Why We Love Mr Eazi

The first time I heard Mr Eazi was on a song called Baby Lace which he got featured on by Stay Jay. He really did not come off as a cat who would take the entire continent by storm and become my favorite in a short while but he has and no can say they are not jamming to any of his songs. The truth is that he has a beautiful voice which is unique and rare around here besides Brymo who is also extremely awesome. No one gets tired of listening to his voice and he comes with that very relatable youthful exuberance.

To be sincere he does not bring the best writing skills to the table and the lyrics he churns out would usually not get anyone’s applause but he really is the new name and is making waves across board currently. He would easily strike you as the singing Joey B as they both have this easy going attitude towards their music which is soothing and an escape from all the noise by the way.


He has carefully served us the same song in so many forms over and over again with similar beats but we do not care since we have fallen in love with him already. His collaboration with Efya is by far the most successful collaboration  but slowly the Holl`up featuring Joey B is finding itself  into every playlist. There is currently no party without Mr Eazi’s voice and the recently ended Odwira festival is proof as no street or corner missed his Zagadat.

We hope he continues to bless us with the Anointing, and he grabs awards around the world.
