Prosper Douglas Bani, the minister of interior has stated that December 7 will not be a public holiday but the government is beseeching all establishments to “provide an enabling environment” for workers to be able to go and vote on Election Day
Addressing the Volta Regional Security Council and the Regional Election Task Force during a working, he said except for security personnel who would be given time for their assignments on the day, especially those travelling, the Election Day would remain a working day for public servants.
