Here Are The Winners Of Ghana Music Awards UK, 2016

Unless you were living under a rock, you probably heard about UK’s version of the Ghana Music Awards. Remember that thing that the BAR was mad about?

Yes well, anyway, it took place over the weekend, and surprise surprise, Shatta Wale capped off an incredible year, winning the Artiste of the Year gong, ahead of some pretty impressive competition. The other nominees for Artistes of the Year were Sarkodie (you may have heard of him), Stonebwoy, E.L and Mr. Eazi.

Of course, there were other winners, Sarkodie beat away competition from E.L to win the Rapper of the Year gong (not like it’s getting predictable or anything).

And we’re particularly excited for Mr. Eazi! He continued an impressive run of form to win the Music Video of the Year and the Afrobeats Artiste of the Year.
