This week, Ghanaian celebrities featured prominently in the news for various reasons, some declaring their support for some political figures, some embroiled in scandals and others also looking dapper in new photos they posted on their instagram pages.
This week in celebrity’s first focus will be on AMG Boss, Criss Waddle. Criss Waddle had a very tough week because his alleged eighteen year old girlfriend, Mary attempted committing suicide because the Biegya hitmaker had apparently ” Biegya” and had jilted her although she is deeply in love with him. Criss Waddle came out to say that the supposed suicide was just staged and that he will from henceforth not have anything to do with the SHS leaver.
Ghana’s fastest rapper, Sarkodie organised naming ceremony for his dear daughter Titi. The naming ceremony saw in attendance personalities from the music, movie and media industries including KKD, Kofi Adjololo and others. Pictures of the ceremony were released online on thursday. The pictures shows that Titi’s naming ceremony was glamorous.
Nollywood actor, Frank Artus this week disclosed to Amanda on E-Talk on Ghone TV that some female actresses he has had to act roles with have bad breath. He mentioned that although he sometimes complains, directors tell him there is no way to change them so he has to cope with the bad breath.
Efya won female artiste of the year at the just ended Nigeria Entertainment Awards. The sensational singer wowed the audience with her craft on stage when she performed her rendition of obianuju and some of her other songs at the ceremony that celebrated people who had distinguished themselves in the entertainment industry in Nigeria and Africa in general.
Musician, Lucky Mensah who was formerly in the camp of the National Democratic Congress composed a song for the New Patriotic Party for the upcoming elections. The musician however, was seriously criticized by faithful of the governing National Democratic Congress.
Contemporary gospel artiste, Cwesi Oteng has openly declared his support for New Patriotic Party’s flagbearer, Nana Addo Danquah Akuafo Addo. The music star took to his twitter page to openly tell the world that he supports the NPP because he believes that the country needs change.
“I would like to show my support for @NAkufoAddo and to fully endorse him to be our next POGH.I believe Ghana needs a breath of fresh air.”
Hiphop artiste, M.anifest launched his fourth studio album, “No Where Cool”on thursday at the Jaguar Showroom in Accra. The launch was graced by the presence of great personalities including Ama Ata Aidoo and Prof. J.H Nketiah. His album which featured fourteen songs has won the admiration of many who believe that a lot if hardwork and investment had gone into producing it.
