
News reaching us this afternoon is that the labour ward of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital is fully functional and patients are being taken care of. This goes contrary to the initial report that admissions have been suspended, thus this is an update of the initial article which stated that the labour ward of the hospital has suspended admissions.
The only problem they are facing at the moment is the shortage of oxygen. With this, emergency cases that invole the use of oxygen are being referred to other hospitals. At the moment, measures are being put in place to address this problem.
