Ghanaian artiste and Fante rapper, Kofi Kinaata in an interview on ‘This Morning’, a Viasat 1 TV show, revealed the motivation behind his hit song, ‘Susuka’.
Earlier this year, he disclosed that his father is a Reverend Minister who teaches in a Bible school.
He said his father saw this era of music as senseless, non-educative and noisy and as such urged him to put out the song to prove his father wrong and give him a new mindset.
The artiste won the Songwriter of The Year award at the 2016 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards for the song. He also won the Best New Artiste Award at the same event.
