Pop Eyes

Zula Bar And Restaurant
The Zula bar is a corporate hang out spot which caters to your every want associated with night life. They make the spiciest dishes and serve a wide range of cocktails. For the holiday, Zula is having a karaoke and beer pong night with side attractions like Zuquila shots with every fifth shot going for free as well as yam chips and wings. You can locate this great spot on Lindy Street, off the Adjiringanor Road, East Legon.
The Sandbox Beach Bar
This one is a great one for all beach-lovers. Located at South Labadi Estates, the Sandbox will be hosting a beach party with a variety of great artistes and DJ’s rocking music from 3pm. So if you feel like dancing and letting loose the kinks you’ve garnered over the week you certainly should be there.
Republic Day Sale
There’s also going to be a Republic Day sale at the Crystal Park, East Legon. There are going to be electronics, home products, jewellery, footwear, books and other items on sale with great discounts. It starts at 10:00 am and runs through to 6:00 pm. Don’t miss out on the good stuff!
Ministry of Tourism Carnival
The Ministries are not to be left out of the fun. Now I know you’re thinking its going to be downright boring but I’ll have you know that they are launching this for the third time; the third time! It’s definitely something worthwhile after all. Now this carnival runs for three days. On Friday, 1st July, there’s going to be a float from the Obra Spot at the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange to the Independence Square for a food bazaar, exhibition of art and other fun-filled activities. The second and third days will be two swinging days of beach jams at the Labadi Beach with the events starting at 12:00 pm.
Kaywa Live Playlist
This is a concert to mark sound engineer Kaywa’s 15 years in the music industry. It’ll feature all the top artistes Kaywa has worked with over the years: Sarkodie, R2bees, Okyeame Kwame, Becca, Samini, D Cryme, Ofori Amponsah, and others you’d definitely love to see. The concert will start at 7:00 pm at the Tema Sports Stadium.
Aside these events billed for tomorrow, there are also a couple of places you could visit if you just want a quiet day out.
Pinnochio Gelato
Mainly an ice cream shop but they serve great pizza and waffles. You can locate this shop at the A & C Mall, Jungle Road. You should also take note that their branch at Osu is closed for renovation.
La Piazza
It serves pastas, pizzas, salads and chicken dishes in a cozy sitting outdoor area.
The Buka Restaurant
A restaurant which serves African cuisine (specifically Ghanaian and Nigerian, Togo, Senegal, Cote d’Ivoire) in a warm, hospitable atmosphere. It’s located at Osu, 10 Lane, 2 doors from the American Embassy, Visa Section.
