The National Service Secretariat released the list of the 2016/2017 National Service posting. Personnel were asked to check for for their respective postings.


President Mahama Gift Saga


The gift saga involving the President and Burkinabe contractor continued this week. Ghanaians expressed various sentiments and various politicians also made known their thoughts on the issue, some saying there was nothing wrong in accepting the car and others saying otherwise.


St. John’s Assault Case


It was in the news recently that teacher’s of St. John’s Primary 1 & 2 in Accra New Town were assaulted by armed men after a student was punished by a teacher thus causing the school to shut down. The student is said to have called these men.

In later developments, 17 suspects were arrested by the Nima Police over their alleged involvement in the incident.


Stonebwoy’s Manager Throws Jab


Manager of Ghanaian artiste, Stonebwoy, replied Jojo Demens’ tweet which said the artiste should change from the dancehall music to gospel music. Stonebwoy’s manager took to facebook to show his displeasure. He wrote, “Sing songs that will inspire and motivate people.”


Bisa Kdei Talks: I Didn’t Date Becca


Speaking on Adom FM’s mid-morning show, Bisa Kdei said rumors that he was dating Becca were false. He said they did things musically making it clear that they were never in a relationship.

He also expressed disappointment in Kwabena Kwabena after the artist made some comments on his ‘Mansa’ song he disagreed with. Kwabena Kwabena said the sound quality of the song wasn’t good and as such did not get to feature on the song when Bisa sent it to him.
