
President Mahama was in Koforidua over the weekend for the 17th Graduation ceremony of All Nations University College where 354 students successfully graduated with degrees in Allied Health Science, Business, Banking and Finance, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Engineering, Entrepreneurship among others..
The theme for the gathering was, ”The Growth and Development of Private Universities, and the Impact on the Socio-economic Development of Ghana.” Some of the dignitaries who were present are Mavis Frimpong (Eastern Regional Minister), Dr. Norman Cook and Dr Samuel Donkor (President and Founder of the University).
In President Mahama’s speech, he said with the rising graduate population in Ghana and the entire world, it was becoming extremely difficult for government alone to absorb them and, therefore, developing entrepreneurial skills would help in reducing the high incidence of unemployment.
