The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2016 that was held yesterday is one of the biggest nights on the events calendar of the year. For the music industry, it is a night where the country’s best and most popular talents meet to perform and be given awards based on votes and their individual efforts. This year’s event was more successful with the nice reception by Berla Mundi (GhOne) and Elias Chebib (4SyteTV) on the red carpet, colourful strobe lighting on stage and a packed line-up of wonderful live performances by some of our favourite artistes.
One thing that has been given less attention but with its inclusion has made the VGMA event more interesting over the years is the ‘RedRoom’ Experience. As part of Vodafone’s customer appreciation drive, they introduced this to to show appreciation to the loyal customers and patrons of the telecom company. Aside the main event going on in the auditorium, loyal customers who were given special tickets and music patrons who buy VIP or VVIP tickets are privileged to pass by the RedRoom to enjoy some alternative music from a DJ or a live band, eat some food, have a drink, take pictures and socialize with others who are present at the event.
This year, the VGMA RedRoom Experience was an amazing place to be, aside the auditorium. These are the pictures of how things went at the RedRoom arena;
