Superclash: Kenichi Praise His Team’s Resoluteness Despite Loss

Kenichi Yatsuhashi has hailed his players for their performance on the day despite their loss to arch rivals, Kumasi Asante Kotoko in Accra.

Hearts fell to Kotoko at the Accra Sports stadium, Monday when the two met in an enthralling League encounter.

But in a Facebook post, the coach of the Phobians said his lads played very well on the day, considering the chances they created and how resolute they were in defense. He also noted that they were not lucky on the day hence their loss.
He however jumped to the defence of his goalkeeper, Soulama who has come under immense criticism for causing a howler which gave Kotoko the only goal in the game saying “Soulama is a great goal keeper. I still trust him”.

Kenichi mentioned that his team will go back to train and come back strongly in their next game.

The loss sees Hearts of Oak maintain their second position whereas Kotoko moves to the nineth position on the league log.
