It is Friday again, most students and workers will be out looking for where to ease off the stress they have gone through within the week. Also, this is the last weekend in the month of April. I must say Accra is really going to experience a bag full of events this weekend.
Where to start depends on an individual’s preference but I know for sure that my dear ladies won’t miss out on Juliet Ibrahim’s Female Celebrity Soccer Match this Sunday 1st May at Lizzy’s Sports Complex inside East Legon. The Ghanaian celebrities will be facing their Nigerian counterparts boot for boot.
Am not sure my gentlemen will be absent either, because it will be cool to see your favorite female celebrities in jerseys showing their curvy African shapes. See the #TeamGhana line-up captained by our beautiful Nana Ama McBrown.
In Kumasi, the African Rap God, Sarkodie Obidi and the CEO of UT Bank Prince Kofi Amoabeng will be giving a lecture at the Great Hall on KNUST campus. They will be sharing their amazing success stories. This event was brought together by UT Bank, SarkCess Music and VodafoneX. Anita Erskine, the lovely and eloquent presenter from StarrFm will be the host for the event.
Also, Ghana’s Dancehall King Shata Wale will be launching his “After The Storm” album at the Independence Square this evening. It is a free event so the probability of event grounds getting filled up is very high. For now we should all keep our fingers crossed for a surprising performance. We pray security will be increased else…
Another event going on this evening is the VGMA 2016 internal launch with Kofi Kinaata, MzVee, Bisa, E.L. It wasn’t so hyped because it kind of a “strictly by invitation” thing. You will have to know an insider to know the location or be there.
The last event going down this weekend is the UCC SRC Awards happening tomorrow, 30th April at NEC. The whole campus is tensed up because students are waiting to see which of the nominees will win what from the various categories . Confirmed guest artistes that will be passing through are Kwaw Kese, Luther, Uncle Ato and Ohemaa Mercy.
Sunday’s date will be 1st May (MayDay), therefore Monday will be a holiday making it a long weekend for all of us. KuulPeeps.com wishes all students and workers a happy weekend. We will all be advised to chill with caution so we start a new week and a new month happily.
