KNUST court has granted a petition restraining the Electoral commission from declaring official results of the just ended election process.
The case brought to the court by Mr. Kobby Amoah and Joseph Mireku as petitioners prayed the court to stop the EC from publicly announcing the results on Focus fm.
The case was filed on allegations of fraud and breach of electoral process.
The case had the Ec and Mr. Samuel Amoako Kusi as 1st and 2nd respondents respectively.
The substantive case which is to declare electoral results null and void will be heard tomorrow.
The court upheld the injunction thus giving time for the petitioners gather their evidence and fight the substantive case in court.
