Abraham Atta returned to Ghana yesterday and made certain revelations about his career and plans. Straight from the airport, the young actor went to the Flagstaff House where he was hosted by the Vice President Amissah Arthur.
On his returned, he gave an insight as to his plans for his career and personal life. According to him, he has plans of relocating to the U.S.A, where he will school and live. Also, he has said that he is not going to feature in Ghanaian movies because he believes that Hollywood is more fun.
Asked about his TOMS deal at the airport, he reiterated once again that TOMS will be sending in 10,000 pairs because he was the first person to wear TOMS on the red carpet of the OSCARS.
Abraham presented an award at the Oscars and also won the Independent Spirit Award for “Best Male Lead” for his breakout performance as a child soldier in ‘Beasts of No Nation’. He also picked up the Marcello Mastroianni Award for Best Young Actor at Venice Film Festival 2015 and the “Rising Star Award” at the Black Film Critics Circle this past awards season.
