
Candidates for SRC positions in the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology had to be revetted on March 19th .
Information reaching kuulpeeps.com has it that, there was a bribery allegation against the Electoral Commissioner of the Student Representative council.
Grapevine information has it that one of the candidates who resented the outcome of the first vetting, Nana Yaa Asantewaa, was approached by the Electoral Commissioner to buy the vetting questions.
Nana Yaa Asantewaa who is alledged to be the daughter of the Dean of Social Sciences however recorded the conversation she had with the electoral commissioner but did not badge on buying of the questions.
Nana Yaa and Amoako Yaw Ahenkorah were disqualified after the first vetting but sensing that they were cheated, challenged the outcome of the first vetting.
The Student Representative Council Court however ordered for a Revetting of all candidates which was done on Saturday 19th March.
Meanwhile, Nana Yaa Asantewaa opted out of the race but all other candidates who were disqualified in the first vetting were all recommended for voting.
