Week two fixtures of the Ghana Premier league started on Friday when New Edubiase recovered from their defeat at Accra Hearts of Oak to beat Cape Coast Abusua Dwarfs by a lone goal from Zubiru Fuseini.
On Saturday Yusif Basigi’s boys tamed Tachiman-based Tachiman City in a six goal thriller which saw former Ghana Premier league Golden shoe holder, Eric Bekoe scoring a brace to register his presence on the local scene. The match ended 4:2 in favour of Hasmal.
Kenichi Yatsuhashi, coach of Accra Hearts of Oak gave Tom Strand and his men the shock of their life when they put two goals past them at their own backyard in Tarkwa. Goals from Cosmos Dauda and Eric Kumi handed the Phobians the needed win.
Wa All Stars neutralised Brong Ahafo based Aduana Stars at their home grounds when they travelled all the way from Wa to pip them by a lone goal from Kofi Yeboah.
Brekum Chelsea stayed at home to beat West African Football Academy by one goal whiles Dreams FC continued their unbeaten run by pipping their opponents from Bechem, Bechem United.
