Charter House Bans Shatta Wale, He Reacts

Finally, Charter House have confirmed what Kuulpeeps published a few weeks ago that Shatta Wale has been banned from the Ghana Music Awards. The confirmation was made by Mrs. Theresa Ayoade, Executive Director of CharterHouse at the VGMA press conference yesterday.

According to her, a public apology is the only guarantee that Shatta Wale would get nominations at the awards scheme.

He has not completed the process, the board wants to encourage him to complete the process he has started, which would include a public apology to the board and the scheme, and thereafter we will move things forward

Citing the reason for the decision, she said;

After two years of publicly campaigning about not wanting to included in the awards, and recording and posting of materials that tarnished and denigrated the image of the scheme, he has presented an entry for nomination. The board, however thinks it is the first step to redeeming himself from the denigration of the scheme

Hours later Shatta Wale is believed to have replied on his Facebook wall that the monster that he is now is as a result of Charter House and the way they treated him in the past. He explained this with an analogy of caging an animal for a very long time.

It is, however, unclear if the SM4lyf Boss is going to apologize since he has always said that his fans are the reason why he submitted his work to the VGMA board in the first place.
