
Ghana’s Andre Ayew lost the 2015 African Footballer of the year to Aubamenyang from Gabon. The 26 year-old forward has, however, won many honors over the years and deserves to be celebrated. Here is the list of honors he has in his career.
Trophée des Champions (2010,2011)
It is a French association football trophy contested in an annual match between the champions of French Ligue 1 (the premier league in France) and the winners of the Coupe de France (the F.A Cup in France) . It is equivalent to the Super Cups found in many countries. In 2010 and 2011, he won this trophy with Marseille.
Coupe de France (2011, 2012)
The Coupe Charles Simon, commonly known as the Coupe de France is the premier knockout cup competition in French Football organized by the French Football Federation. He won that with Marseille in 2011 and 2012.
Africa Cup of Nations (Bronze-2008 and Silver-2010,2015)

The U20 World Cup & African Youth Championship (2009)
He captained the National U20 team to win both the World Cup in Egypt and African Youth Championship in 2009.
Ghana Player of the Year as well as BBC African Player of the Year all in 2011
Ayew won Ghana’s Player of the Year and beat Ivorian pair of Yaya Toure and Gervinho as well as Cameroonian Samuel Eto’o and Mali’s Seydou Keita to win the BBC African Player of the Year.
Top Scorer (2015 African Cup of Nations)
After netting 3 goals and 2 assist in all 6 games, Dede Ayew was awarded the Pepsi Highest Scorer of the competition.
Premier League Player of the Month (August 2015)
As a Swansea City striker, Andre Ayew was named August’s Barclays Premier League Player of the Month in 2015. He scored three goals as the unbeaten Swansea sat in fourth place with eight points from their opening four games.
