KNUST and its environs have gradually become a hub for robbery incidents and unfortunately yesterday evening was no exception, as students occupying Casa Maria Hostel, a hostel accommodation situated at Ayeduase in the off-campus section of KNUST was robbed.
According to an eye witness, the robbery incident occured around 9pm when most students were watching a champions league game whiles others were preparing for their exams, 4 well-built men who were armed with guns and other harmful weapons attacked the hostel and robbed them of their valuable belongings such as Phones, Laptops, iPads and and an unspecified amount of money.
Everyone apparently co-operated and fortunately no one was hurt or shot during the incident. The Police are currently investigating the incident.
