The custodians of the Antoa shrine have reported to the Kenyasi District Police that the shrine’s ‘strong room’ has been raided. A report by the Ghanaian Times indicated that the thieves stole gold ornaments and other valuables worth thousands of cedis.
Six people in charge of the strong room were arrested and granted police enquiry bail yesterday to assist in investigations.
The internet had a few words to share about the incident.

The Ashanti girls can't threaten us with Antoa anymore, because when we break their hearts, indirectly they report us to Ghana Police😂

U lose your property, u go to Antoa, Antoa loses properties and goes to the police. LOL

Some compared the theft at the shrine to various robberies happening in churches whiles others mocked the custodians of the shrine, for reporting the incident to the police when they claim to judge theft cases.
Thieves stealing from Antoa shrine is not strange as they have been raiding Churches since 1901. Dem no dey fear anything!
