
Management firm Goodman AMC has released the maiden list of 50 best organizations to work for and the list contains names of Multinational companies, public sector organizations, private and international firms. The selection of companies or organizations was based on Job security, Teamwork, Public perception, Growth opportunities, Work environment, Organization’s reputation, Effective leadership, Support for diversity, Innovation, Organization’s culture, Strategic management, Relationship with boss and co-workers.
The list is made up of more than half Ghanaian owned organizers with foreign firms making up the rest of the list. Ashesi University is the only Ghanaian academic institution on the list that has ‘Office of the President’, ‘Ministry of Foreign Affairs’, Vodafone among others.
Goodman AMC explained how the process happened, “This year we saw quite a number of International organizations ranking in the Top 50 Best Places to Work in Ghana; this is due to their savory ethics and their understanding of factors that influence the happiness of their workforce; and such factors include growth opportunity and organization culture.”
