The press screening of the movie took place last week at the hotel Casarere In East legon and this is what Prince Dovlo said to the press at the event according to pluse.com.gh,

“Purple” concept started two years ago and its a musical film. About two years ago, we wanted to shoot something different—something that people would fall in love with. So we came up with this concept where we would involve more youth than to shoot a romantic movie,” he said.

He added “About the time frame, we had to record every single song in the film and remake the beats. Also, we had to fuse most of the Ghanaian artistes we have. It’s been good so far.”
