Asamoah Gyan’s Scandal: I Might Hand Over The Case To Anas- Lawyer Ampaw

Lawyer Maurice Ampaw

Lawyer for Sarah Kwablah, Maurice Ampaw has said he might hand over the rape/sodomy accusations levelled against Asamoah Gyan to Anas Aremeyaw Anas. This, according to him will be an attempt to get the attention of international media houses such as Al Jazeera on the case since the Attorney General has failed him.

He made this statement at a press conference organized by Sarah Kwablah and her mother to react to the Attorney General’s decision to close the docket on the case. According to him, if Gyan does not apologize to the family in seven days, he’d be forced to invoke the powers of the United Nations, FIFA, Amnesty International and other global bodies to get Gyan to admit to the allegations.

Lawyer Ampaw was flanked by Sarah Kwablah and her irate mother who called Gyan a beast and rapist who is arrogant and has no concern for her family’s well being. She further called on President Mahama and the powers that be to help clear her daughter’s name citing that her family is not rich and justice is not being served to them.

Asamoah Gyan is too proud to come to my face and say ‘oh my mother I’m sorry, we did this. Even when she was pregnant. So the fact that we are not rich are we not Ghanaian too? I believe the president is watching. And the AG is under him. So what is president doing? He can see that no this is not good, call the case, call the captain for him to answer.
